This is easily the most common and basic weapon in both The Getaway and The Getaway: Black Monday. It is Mark Hammond and DC Carter's basic weapon, in nearly every mission they will have one of these. It has moderate power, and it best suited to medium range combat. The Glock 17 has a fast rate of fire, and has a rather large clip size of 19 rounds, which is more than enough to take care of a couple of gang members that aren't too heavily armed. The Glock 17 is also great for shooting explosive objects, such as fuel drums and gas cylinders. It is also a pretty accurate gun, so if you want to shoot out the tires of a car, this is the gun to do it with. The Glock 17 is usually found on armed cops and gang members, so it is not a hard gun to find. It is therefore wise to use it as often as you want, because its ammunition is very common. It is also dual wieldable, meaning you can use two of them at the same time.
