There are 8 key rings to be collected when playing as Mitch, 12 when playing as Eddie and 4 when playing as Sam. There is one key ring to be found in each chapter, with the exception of two key rings. In Chapter 14, Trespass, two seperate key rings can be found during this chapter, one when playing the chapter as Eddie, and the other when playing as Sam. In Chapter 22, The Fall of an Icon, two seperate key rings can be found during this chapter. They are in the same spot, but can only be found depending on the player choice made in Chapter 13, Return to the Scene of the Crime. The first key ring can be found if the player helped Sam and second key ring can be found if the player left Sam. It does not matter what has happened to Jackie in Chapter 18, Your Man with the Tattoo.
Finding the key rings and collecting them will unlock new content for the special features mode. You can unlock new races, black cab and chase missions, as well as two bonus Free Roaming characters: Leo and Madame Celina. Some key rings are easier to find than others, but each key ring is usually placed in a hidden location throughout each chapter. Once a key ring is located, all the player needs to do is walk over to the key ring and the character will automatically pick it up. You can track what key rings you have under the special features mode, as all of the key rings are located there along with the chapter number the key ring was found in. Once a key ring has been collected, it cannot be found when playing through the chapter again.
The following guide is a list of all of the locations for each key ring with a worded description on where to find it. Alternatively, you can watch the video walkthrough for the locations of all 24 key rings to visually see where each key ring is. Each key ring doesn't unlock a specific special feature. For example, collecting one key ring on any chapter will unlock the same special feature. Tuesday (Chapter 1) - Key Ring #1 - After you chase the guys out onto the walkway, instead of going down the stairs to Level 1, go up the stairs to Level 3 and follow the passageway. It's just before the red barrier.
Shoreditch Boys (Chapter 2) - Key Ring #2 - Just after you come outside, after clearing all the rooms, take a right, and then a left through the broken, wooden door. Turn left and the key ring is there.
Finding Miss Philips (Chapter 4) - Key Ring #4 - Once you have saved Jackie, and jumped over the big hole, run left into an open doorway. Walk through this room and turn left. Then walk through the open doorway ahead. The key ring is in the top right corner of this room.
Hot Property (Chapter 5) - Key Ring #5 - After you get ambushed and gain control of Mitch, walk through the open doorway on the right then walk up the stairs. At the top of the stairs, turn right and the key ring is at the end. From there you can keep following the platform down into a garage with a car lined up ready for you to take.
Under Ground Activity (Chapter 6) - Key Ring #6 - Once you gain control, follow the passageway to the green door. Open it and follow the stairs down, going past the open doorway. Kill the Yardies down here and keep following the stair case. The key ring is located right at the end.
The Jamaican (Chapter 7) - Key Ring #7 - As you arrive where the Yardies attack Evans, the key ring is at the door step of the house on the left with a lion statue on either side, which is about three houses up from where the cars block the road. For those who played the first game, this house belongs to Charlie Jolson as it is his mansion.
Desperate Measures (Chapter 8) - Key Ring #8 - As you're chasing the guy wearing the leather jacket, just after you pass the scaffold, go down the walkway into a hallway with lockers. Turn right and go up the stairs. The key ring is at the end of the walkway at the top of the stairs.
Monday (Chapter 9) - Key Ring #9 - Once you have taken Sam to the point were she jumps down the hole, go to the stairs, and go up to floor 15. Turn left, watching out for the two guards, then go through the first glass door on the right. Once you have gone through here, there is another glass door to your right. Open it then go left to another door. Open this one and walk through this office to the door at the end. Open this door and the key ring is in this office immediately on your right.
The Rescue (Chapter 10) - Key Ring #10 - As you enter the huge sewer bit, go straight ahead into the open doorway and go left. Follow this right to the end and you will find the key ring in front of a fence.
Return to the Scene of the Crime (Chapter 13) - Key Ring #13 - The key ring is located just outside the entry guard box at the Skobel bank. This key ring can only be collected by Eddie O'Connor. It will not appear if you are playing the chapter as Sam.
Trespass (Chapter 14) (Helped Sam) - Key Ring #14 (Eddie) - As you enter the Skobel bank, on your right there is a door with a circular window. Press triangle and Eddie will open the door. Walk through this door and follow the passageway. The key ring is at the end.
Trespass (Chapter 14) (Left Sam) - Key Ring #14 (Sam) - To get this one, in Chapter 13, Return to the Scene of the Crime, where you have to drive Sam to the bank, get out of the car as Eddie, and you will then take control of Sam. Drive to the bank as Sam. At the start of Chapter 14, Trespass, enter the parking lot straight ahead. The key ring is next to some stairs to your left as you come in. It's best to jump up onto the platform to hide from the guards, then crawl across, jump down and grab the key ring. Alternatively, you can just get into a car down here and run down all the guards to make it easier to move around in this area.
Note: From now on, it doesn't matter what choice you've made, you can collect and find the key rings on any chapter no matter what choice you've made, with the exception of the final chapter.
Codes of Honour (Chapter 15) - Key Ring #15 - Once you've done all the sneaking around and you arrive up to level 13 of the Skobel bank, just ahead of the stairwell exit you come out of, will be a door with a round window. You can only head in the general direction of where this door is because there is a guard to your right. Inside the room is a first aid kit on the wall you can use and on the floor will be the next key ring.
This Geezer, Hector (Chapter 16) - Key Ring #16 - On the third floor of Hector's Place as you are looking for him, make a right into the room with the open double doors. Make a left into the office and the key ring is on the floor.
Jimmer Collins (Chapter 17) - Key Ring #17 - The key ring is located inside the printing works where you find Jimmer Collins. It's located in a small office in the very back of the building. The office is found just before you head off to the left where the cutscene takes place. You will know you are near it if you can hear Jimmer talking.
Your Man with the Tattoo (Chapter 18) - Key Ring #18 - After you have killed Yuri and either saved or let Jackie die, go down the stairs and kill all the guys down here in this area. Proceed through a door and head up some stairs. The key ring is in the next room immediately on the right. You have to go through this room to get to the other part of the factory. This is in the building you follow Yuri to, not the one you follow him through where he switches cars.
Paying Favours (Chapter 20) - Key Ring #20 - At the very start of the chapter, Alexei exits an elevator right in front of Sam. The key ring can be found in the elevator that he comes out of. Remember this chapter can only be played if you helped Sam earlier on.
Beginning of the End (Chapter 21) - Key Ring #21 - Once on board Viktor's boat, the key ring can be found in the boat pump room. It's in the small room on the top left. It is located near the back of the boat and is found just before you go up the stairs to face Alexei on the lower deck.
The Fall of an Icon (Chapter 22) (Helped Sam) - Key Ring #22 (a) - To get this one, on Chapter 13, Return to the Scene of the Crime, you will have to have driven Sam to the bank as Eddie. Then on Chapter 22, the key ring is located in the small area to the right on the outside bit of the pumphouse. It can be found near a shotgun. It is in the exact same spot as Key Ring #22 (b).
The Fall of an Icon (Chapter 22) (Left Sam) - Key Ring #22 (b) - To get this one, on Chapter 13, Return to the Scene of the Crime, you will have to have left Sam as Eddie, and driven to the bank as Sam. If you didn't do this you will have to go through the entire story again, but from the bit where you take control as Sam, after you get out of the car as Eddie. Then on Chapter 22, the key ring is located in the small area to the right on the outside bit of the pumphouse. It can be found near a shotgun. It is in the exact same spot as Key Ring# 22 (a).
Note: With both of these last key rings, it does not matter what happened with Jackie and whether or not Mitch is trying to kill you. As long as you have selected the different endings that means Sam lives or dies you can get the key rings.

The key rings collected don't unlock specific special features. So in other words, a key ring isn't assigned a specific unlock. The way it works is based on the number of key rings you have collected. So collecting one key ring will unlock a set special feature, collecting two will unlock another set special feature and so on and so fourth. The following is an ordered list of how many key rings are needed to unlock each special feature, so you know how many keys rings you need to collect in order to unlock a specific race, black cab or chase mission or the Free Roaming characters: Leo and Madame Celina.
