Outside of the Yardie Drug Factory in the front yard.
The Yardie Drug Factory is an interior featured in The Getaway that is located on Holywell Row, Shoreditch. The factory can also be entered via a back door from an alleyway off Worship Street. It is owned by Jamahl and the Yardies. There is a yard at the front of the building and an alley leading to Worship Street at the back. In The Getaway: Black Monday, a Used Car Yard is found in front of the building.
This particular building is first seen in a cutscene of Mission 5, Taxi for Mr Chai?. Jake Jolson wants Mark Hammond to go and drop off the dead body of Johnny Chai, a member of the Triads, outside the Siu Fung, a Chinese restaurant located on Gerrard Street in Chinatown. This will anger the Triads so they will chase after Mark and try to kill him. Jake tells Mark to lure them to a building on Holywell Row, off of Worship Street, and says that he and some of the boys will be there to help massacre the Triads. Mark believes him but doesn't realise that the building on Holywell Row he is heading to is actually a Yardie base and does not belong to the Bethnal Green Mob. Mark does this job, and lures the Triads over to the base where a gang war erupts between the two gangs. This happens in Mission 6, Out of the Frying Pan. Mark takes cover as the two gangs kill each other in the front yard of the building and then he finishes any gang member left off. After the war is over and all of the gang members have been killed, Mark leaves the yard, enraged at Jake, and swears to kill him for nearly getting him killed. Mark then receives a phone call from Harry who tells him about his next job. This occurs in the opening cutscene from Mission 7, Filthy Business. After Harry explains to Mark what he has to do, Mark grabs a vehicle and escapes the area just as the police arrive to deal with the aftermath of it all. This is the last time the Yardie Drug Factory is seen in Mark's story.

The entrance to the front yard of the Yardie Drug Factory.
The Yardie Drug Factory later returns in Frank Carter's story in Mission 18, The Vigilante. Clive McCormack has had two rookies called Ryan and Harris case the drug factory. Due to their inexperience, the Yardies had captured them and were torturing them for information. After McCormack suspended Frank in the opening cutscene of this mission, Frank is approached by a Policewoman who tells him that they can't get a hold of the rookies. Frank then decides that he is going to go in after them, even though he is suspended. Frank arrives on Worship Street and enters the Yardie Drug Factory via the back from an alleyway on Worship Street. He kills all the Yardies inside the building and heads to the top floor where he finds the two rookies who have been badly tortured but are still alive. While Frank rescues them, Mark and the Triads arrive at the front yard outside, and the gang war erupts. Frank then shoots his way out of the Yardie Drug Factory and escorts the two rookies safely back to Worship Street during Mission 19, Stalking McCormack. As Frank leaves, Mark also leaves the area and police backup arrives to clear up the mess. Frank leaves Harris and Ryan in the safe hands of the police and returns to Snow Hill Police Station to deal with McCormack. After Frank leaves, the Yardie Drug Factory is not seen again.
Because all the Yardies at the building were killed by the end of The Getaway, and the police had taken over and secured the area, it is likely the Yardies lost this hideout once and for all. The police presumably cleared up the mess and secured the area, as well as taking possession of the drugs inside.

The Used Car Yard in The Getaway: Black Monday.
In The Getaway: Black Monday, the Yardie Drug Factory building remains intact, however, the front yard wall and entrance have been completely demolished and in front of the drug factory building is now a Used Car Yard. The dead body of Suzie Hammond from the first game can be found amongst the garbage bags in a room on the ground floor of the Yardie Drug Factory, behind the Used Car Yard. In front of the Used Car Yard and on the right is the place where the results for each Race are shown in the Special Features mode, Race. The alleyway leading to the Yardie Drug Factory from Worship Street is sealed off by barriers, preventing access via this route.
It is therefore ultimately unknown what became of the Yardie Drug Factory. Although the front yard where the gang battle between the Yardies and Triads has been revamped, the building itself remains intact and appears as it did in the first game. It is possible the Yardies are still in charge of this building, and could also be operating the Used Car Yard as an illegal front. However, it is also possible they no longer own this building, and someone else has taken over.

Trivia[]
- The Yardie Drug Factory gets its name from a Mission Briefing Objective for Mission 18, The Vigilante. The objective reads as follows: "Go to the Yardie drug factory." The policewoman in the opening cutscene of the mission refers to the building as a "Crackhouse". However, the building is also used for growing weed and not just crack.
- Jake Jolson tells Mark Hammond to lure the Triads to "Holywell Street off of Worship". However, the name of the road is actually called Holywell Row, not Holywell Street. Worship is also called Worship Street, not just Worship, which could suggest where the mix-up came from.
- The in-game Mission Briefing Objective also incorrectly lists the location as Holywell Street instead of Holywell Row. The objective reads as follows in the mission, Out of the Frying Pan: "Lure the Triads to Holywell Street." While it can be expected that the character of Jake Jolson could make this mistake, the in-game objective getting the name of the road wrong appears to be a genuine mistake.
- Only the physical copy of the game's map of London shows the correct name of the road as Holywell Row.
